In the first quarter of 2024, Norway's top carpooling and ridesharing apps on the iOS platform exhibited diverse trends in weekly downloads and active users. Based on data from Sensor Tower, here’s a detailed look at the performance of the top five apps: Bolt: Request a Ride, Uber - Request a ride, Yango: taxi, food, delivery, Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver, and inDrive. Bolt: Request a Ride had a fluctuating download trend, starting with around 3.9K downloads in early January and ending with approximately 2.9K downloads by late March. Active users also saw a slight decline from 11.3K to 9.8K over the quarter.

Uber - Request a ride experienced a more stable pattern. Weekly downloads hovered around 2.2K to 2.9K, while active users remained relatively high, starting at 137.6K and ending at 133.1K.

Yango: taxi, food, delivery saw a significant drop in downloads, from 857 in the first week of January to just 25 by the end of March. Correspondingly, active users decreased from 1.7K to 621 over the same period.

Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver showed a steady download rate, ranging from 73 to 131 downloads per week. Active users were consistent, starting at 2.0K and ending at 2.2K.

inDrive. Save on city rides had a varied download trend, peaking at 215 downloads in mid-February and dipping to 13 in early January. Active users increased from 236 to 445 by mid-February before settling at 254 by the end of March.
